What we collect, and why.

Last updated 4 August 2026

Short, because there isn’t much. RuhPlush is a pre-launch website whose only function is a waitlist — there are no accounts, no checkout, and no advertising pixels.

What we collect

Your email address, when you type it into a waitlist form. Alongside it we store which page the form was on, when you signed up, and — if you tap one — what you said you were hoping it would help with. That last field decides which emails you get and nothing else.

Basic analytics about pages viewed and forms started, tied to a random identifier that lasts for one browsing session. No IP addresses are stored, no cross-site identifiers, and no fingerprinting. We cannot tell who you are from it and we do not try.

Nothing else. No location beyond a country, no device profile, no third-party advertising trackers.

Why

To send you the emails you asked for, and to know which pages actually help people find what they came for. The lawful basis for the emails is your consent, given by typing your address in and then clicking the confirmation link — which is also why we use double opt-in rather than adding you on the strength of one form submission.

Who else sees it

The infrastructure we run on, and nobody else. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address. When email is switched on, the sending provider will process your address in order to deliver messages to you; they are a processor acting on our instructions, not a recipient.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we keep a suppression record — just enough to make sure we never email you again by accident. That is the one thing we deliberately do not delete on request, because deleting it would break the promise it exists to keep.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@ruhplush.com and a person will do it. No form, no account, no verification theatre beyond confirming you control the address.

You can unsubscribe in one click from any email, or at the unsubscribe page, with no login.

Children

This site and its product are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or why, we will say so in an email rather than quietly updating the date at the top.
